      Pros

      Really friendly staff to work with, the office location isn't badly situated. Fairly good company to get experience in the Industry. Work / life balance is fairly good, not expected to work past 5PM.

      Cons

      The pay for junior staff seems to be at the very low end, pay rise last year was only £300 and bonus this year was only £250, annual profit for this company does not trickle down far. No clear promotion system and it seems to be based on years of service. Work can become boring and repetitive, does not feel challenging anymore. As a graduate, I do not feel like my skills are exploited and have been underpaid in my current position. Not paid for overtime.

      Salary was in market range.

      Cons

      Manager took zero interest in me. I spoke to her 2 times in the 6 months I was there. It’s just an endless grind to various SEC and investor required reporting. By the time you finish you need to start over. Almost all process are broken. This $13B company runs on excel. It’s a real risk that this company collapses on itself. They purchase companies and destroy everything good about their cultures. I was so happy and content until they purchased us. The executives paint a fake picture of their culture to the street.
