Pros

fair work life balance, in which they offer decent time off for vacation, sick days average 5 percent stock match decent medical benefits

Cons

high stress company pays on an 18 month average for raises, but give you a COL index of 3 percent, in which you lose money overall, and before that had to wait 2 1/2 years for a raise the time before that A once a year bonus that isn't even guaranteed and subject to removal by the board of directors, in which the bonus isn't even a decent percentage of your salary dealing with management that want to micro manage you constantly

Pros

The advantages of selling insurance through large corporations have largely disappeared. The environment has shifted toward prioritizing shareholder value over meaningful client and employee relationships.

Cons

Gallagher, like many publicly traded insurance firms, appears focused primarily on share price performance rather than supporting producers or fostering long-term client trust. The culture has become increasingly transactional, leaving little room for genuine professional growth or client advocacy.
