Pros
They do a very diverse set of jobs that keeps things from getting repetitive. They pay close attention to how hard people work and do a great job recognizing that and compensating for it. There are frequently fun company activities that foster a great community. I've never worked with such a good overall group of people that worked together, had fun together, and cared about each other.
Cons
A drawback of the industry is that customers and jurisdictions are very demanding, so it can make for some hard work when deadlines come around.
