Pros
Flexible schedule allowed for easy appointment scheduling and easier handling of childcare. One person could make a difference. (Opinions used to matter.) Dedicated teams.
Cons
Change in leadership has changed direction for the worse. New tech leadership is erratic. CEO is blind to the issues and keeps chasing ideas rather than setting a provable strategy. Puts faith in the wrong people. All the managers and c-suite that cared about the people left the company. We finally started to get promotions after years of nothing but it is a ploy to get people to stay after layoffs.
