Pros
You have a real ability to create your own path if you are well thought of. The people who work there are very bright and entrepreneurial. People who are successful here are persistent, able to work autonomously and with little hand-holding, and able to play the political game.
Cons
Gallup gives great advice to other companies on how to create great places to work and it is sad to see that they take so little of their own advice. Like I mentioned before, your entire future with this company depends on whether or not people like you. If you are well liked then it doesn't really matter what your job performance is. They keep partners for years who haven't sold anything just because upper management likes them. However, on the flip side, if you are not well thought of by everyone then it doesn't matter how good of a job you do- you will be let go. This company also shoots from the hip and will make a decision and then run with it for a few months and then completely change direction again. That can be very frustrating. They are just dealing with growing pains while also feeling the hurt of the economy. Lay offs are projected to grow.
