Pros

None - there are no pros to working at Gartner (except very little work to do)

Cons

Sinking Ship - The company is failing due to disruption by AI and is rapidly downsizing people who have been loyal for 20+ years Low Pay - pay is below market average, though there is very little work to do Skill atrophy (you are likely to lose skills and discipline while working at Gartner because their standards are so low) Lots of HR Violations - some team run a "wolf of wall street" culture where screaming profanities, meltdowns, and threats occur daily Middle-managers are extreme micromanagers, but are largely inexperienced and unqualified: they could easily be laid off and the company would run as normal, but leadership layoffs people who actually do work.

Pros

Being a globally recognized company makes it easy to consistently engage clients. Great benefits. Amazing people (managers and colleagues) For the most part there is a clear path to success and promotions. Executives listen to feedback after every internal call to help guide strategy.

Cons

In office mandate increasing in office days from once a month to once a week. Need to live in Florida or Texas because of the in office mandate. Promotions take a while since there are many people going for the same roles. Hard to reach clients and constant territory’s shifting makes it difficult to achieve the numbers you and management expect.
