Pros

If you are interested in a $50k-$70k salary, this is a great place to be. Location is nice and the atmosphere is very suitable for those right out of college looking for a laid back, shorts and tee shirt environment.

Cons

The rate in which Gartner has grown has been great for most all segments of the business, except this one. There is little opportunity to attain the goals that are set out due to the number of reps in each geographical location. Because there is no CRM to work from, reps will be responsible for spending the majority of their time searching for companies to sell to, scrubbing them and prospecting them instead of selling. The commission plan is one of the worst that I have been associated with, which is one of the reasons I feel the turnover rate is high and continuously climbing (I believe at least 10 reps have left in the last few months). While it is a very laid back place to work - this is a $75k-$90k job (depending on your base). There is was nothing laid out to show any sign of making changes within the sales process or from an operational/marketing standpoint that will better enable sales professionals to succeed.

Pros

Totally remote and the hours that you work can be flexible. The other designers are very friendly and willing to help you out when solving problems. The company provides you with equipment to work with. They also forbid the use of AI in their presentations with is extremely respectable.

Cons

You are paid based on billable hours. Management is strict about how much time you spend on each project, but you also have to make sure to meet a quota of billable hours each week. It can be hard to find a balance and the time counting down while working is stressful.
