Pros

There are definite opportunities for growth and career development. The benefits are great, particularly the amount of time off (7 weeks paid-time-off after 5 years). it's a job that definitely allows for a good work/life balance, while still providing opportunities to make a good living.

Cons

The work can get mundane and tedious at times, and it isn;t very fulfilling. while starting salaries are decent and promotion raises are very fair, yearly increases and bonuses are dismal. employee morale is lacking in certain departments. communication from upper management is sometimes lacking. team work among various departments is also lacking at times -- sort of every department for itself.

Pros

Terrific coworkers. Nearly everyone at the company is pleasant, professional, and willing to help you even if you’ve never met them before. Hybrid work environment. People generally seem to care about you on an individual level. One of the best corporations I’ve worked for.

Cons

Gartner is not in a great place right now. The business model requires changes and Wall Street analysts have tremendous doubts about the corporate liability in the era of AI. Stock has fallen in half over the past two years. Massive layoffs across the company. Doubt the stability is there for any kind of medium term or long-term career. Below market compensation, offset by pros above when they exist.
