Analysts are great. Not too much else.
Cons
Can get all the same info online. They do research but no testing. Lack of good leadership. Employees are just numbers....clients mean nothing to Gartner. It is all about the sales Process and metrics. If you do the process management believes clients will buy. Hey Gene...if there is no value, people won't buy or if they want to allocate dollars elsewhere, they won't buy. Riding the brand too long. Pay not worth the angst. Middle Management has no people training. Theycan be terrible to their people. Always watch your back.
