-Great place to gain experience (Many colleagues moved on to actual IT jobs at other companies) -Tuition Assistance for FT workers -Can be very fun and challenging at times (Have to know a lot about nearly everything electronic) -A few great customers that genuinely appreciate your knowledge and help
Cons
-Dealing with angry and ignorant customers (It is still a retail position - so you will get people that talk down to you, scream at you, and expect everything to be free) -Multitasking is taken to an impossible level at times. (You will have to help the long line of upset people holding their computers, answer the nonstop ringing phones, help customer service to do functionality checks on returns, work on pre-setups, do a ton of paperwork for each check-in, and still find time to actually fix computers.) -Morning meetings! -Breaks can be a rare thing at times
