I've been at Gemini for under a year and I am so happy I made the transition. Everyone's mileage may vary in any role but so far, I've had a great time. I've accelerated my learning, brushed up on new skills, and have made a positive impact on the team and company. For me, that's all that matters. Compensation is strong and I like the direction the company is growing. Although its not the fastest moving company, the careful and thoughtful consideration of all facets of a project from licensing to regulation, to security and engineering -- its honestly the correct approach. As long as the direction stays the same and I have the opportunity to grow, I see no reason to leave. Regarding the culture, everyone pulls their weight and is happy to help out when needed. Cross-team collaboration is strong and although the tech side of things are always busy, people make the time for you. Transition to remote work has been pretty seamless and flexible as well. Keep it up!

Appears to move slower than competitors which can be a drag on morale but the commitment to doing things the right way is important and understandable.
