Pros

Identify/hire the smartest, talented & motivated individuals from around the world & provide them with cutting edge tools and innovation, and then steep them in deep culture (from the pre-IPO founding days) of work hard and play hard, surrounded by diverse collaborative and home-grown workforce that spans 4 generations (how many tech companies can claim active employees with >35 year anniversaries), and finally a chance to work for company engaging in global corporate sustainability and committed to the noblest mission: "Doing now what patients (with unmet medical options) need next."

Cons

Being the best, it is not surprising for upper management or talented individuals to be pouched to other companies therefore as you might have read in the other reviews that there are frequent management changes (granted for some this was just not the right fit or wrong timing). If you're looking at trying to strike it rich with chance of large instantaneous capital gains in company equity then this is not the place for you (missed the window 20 years ago). if you don't like the pressure of upper mgmt to please shareholders to incorporate the latest corporate business operation excellence flavor of the year, then this is not the place for you. If you need constant hand holding and lack self-determination to navigate through your own personal career growth then this is not the right company for you.
