Pros
- Great benefits - Great on-site amenities (several cafeterias; work out facilities; day care; options for haircut, dentist, dry-cleaning pick-up, oil change, and car wash) - Innovative company with cutting-edge science (lab folks get one day a week to work on a project of their choosing!) - Green-focused company - recycling everywhere, bicycles to ride across campus, corn-based silverware in cafeterias, commuter buses with WiFi on board, etc. - Lots of employee morale-building events
Cons
- Office politics still exist - Roche acquired Genentech, so the culture changed somewhat at that time - Over time has become somewhat more "big pharma" instead of "science-focused biotech"
