Pros
-Salary is commensurate with industry standards for each specialty . --Pipeline is very strong -Previous Genentech managers are great and talented and great to work for -Old Genentech was fantastic BUT Roche merger post one year has definitely shaken things and the loyalty and commitment the company had towards its employees is gone causing employee marale to drop
Cons
-For the first time in Genentech's history reps had to sit by the phone in November with what was called "Operation Excellence".(CUTS) (executed very poorly) -Roche persona has overshadowed the strong, excited, driven and positive culture that used to exist with Genentech -Recognition and perks have disappeared
