Pros

Dedicated and involved Executive team, management supportive and trusting. Teams mesh extremely well as the norm and less of the "siloed" mentality than in other organizations. Some old processes are being critically reviewed with collaborative involvement driving actual changes already being realized. Lots of desire for the organization to promote from within where able (have seen roles created in order to retain talent). Summer hours are available as well as remote/hybrid work schedules in a few roles.

Cons

Some functions (SGS/Supply Chain) seem to struggle more than others and have higher turn-over, some existing mentality of "this is how we've always done it" and "tribal knowledge" persists, quick project timelines without adjustment for current supply chain environment leads to challenging situations. Training could be improved but lots of departments realize this and are working to improve this area.

No background checks. Good for people needing a job quickly.

Cons

Where to start? Poor leadership on all levels. A bunch of talk about quality and the customer but are happy pushing out inferior product and dealing with it later, but then blame all the workers (via no quarterly bonus due to impossible metrics they have little/ no control over) instead of correcting the workers responsible. They are SO CHEAP. Cheap in pay, cheap in providing what employees need in a timely manner or if ever, cheap in benefits, cheap all the way around. They want drones, not humans. Very high turnover rate. A lot of promises and little follow up. If you sign up for the annual company picnic and cant make it, they take money directly out of your check for each person signed up to go. Poor training. Reactive, not proactive.
