Pros

I've been teaching on/off for GA for almost 2 years. As with any job, the quality of my time is dependent on who I'm working with. For the most part, I've had some stellar co-workers & co-instructors. The pay and benefits have been fair. They provide a lot of support and communication about what's happening within the company and there are multiple points of contact to support the students.

Cons

Because of the irregularity of student enrollment, they aren't able to provide many instructors with consistent work. I'm not sure how this could be mitigated, so I don't blame GA, but it's still a challenge.

Pros

Lots of opportunities to learn and build experience with Fortune 500 and 1000 client projects, can offer flexibility since the work is 100% remote and contracts are on a per-project basis. Can be great for career growth if you're motivated to work hard and hustle

Cons

People are spread very thin on lots of projects, timelines can be very rushed and high-pressure. This can be a result of client pressure, but also frequently comes from internal issues with communication and poorly defined scope of work.
