Pros
Stable work. Decent office amenities (on-site cafeteria, gym). Large enough company so that if you don't love your current position, you can try a lateral move to a different team. Office culture about what you could expect from a place that is predominantly white straight cismen.
Cons
Weird classist divide between hourly, union Designers and salaried, non-represented Engineers. Work comes with the moral ambiguity of contributing to nuclear deterrence (we're the good guys, but should anyone have this power, but people DO have this power so it behooves us to wield it responsibly, etc). Office culture about what you could expect from a place that is predominantly white straight cismen.
