Raises have nothing to do with performance. Management is not involved whatsoever in finding new work when your contract is over. Not true for all other companies I have worked for. Severance pay is only give out if you have less that 4 weeks notice of your layoff (I had 19 days). Although the Coronavirus is causing companies to layoff, GDIT does not care. It is a horrible policy and you won't find that policy at many other companies. I do not wan't to be too negative, but GDIT needs to be more progressive and understand the environment around them.
