Pros
9/80 work schedule is a huge plus which gives you every other Friday off. Medical insurance options are above average although starting in 2015 it may be more inline with the market. 401k match is pretty good. Most of the engineering areas are generally low stress but not all. Great co-workers and bosses.
Cons
The company is very dis-functional and resistant to change. When a functional problem has to be addressed it is done by crushing the engineers at the bottom with more burdens. Communication from the top to the bottom of the company remains terrible despite survey after survey over the years indicating this. The burden of process and bureaucracy stifle innovation and make it difficult to get things done.... very frustrating. The current business outlook in this industry is poor. Management has clamped down hard on promotions and advancement as the company structure is very top heavy. Flex time is not all that flexible.
