-Competition pays 15% more -Bad managers are just recycled from one spot in the organization to another -Focused concentration on bringing in Canadian executives to the US side has led to the detriment of major vehicle programs -Sister/partner company in London Ontario has no financial standards but management fears being ‘mean’ to them -Retaining top employees & making GDLS a top place to work are annual company internal initiatives that appear great but have no breadth or substance. -New hire training isn’t a thing and most managers lack the basic skills to perform the lower level roles of employees that work for them
