      Older management cannot cooperate with younger talent. There is a culture of seniority over experience or skill. A lot of condescending manager make it hard for young engineers

      Pros

      Great Benefits if transferring to full-time status. Extremely established leadership hierarchy. Many experienced engineers willing to help develop a newer engineers' skill set.

      Cons

      If you primarily enjoy being more hands-on environments smaller companies might be a better option. Not necessarily a con but becoming 'shoe-boxed' is much more likely at a larger organization.
