they believed a lie told to management about me from a non-employee (also non-patient or family member) that did not even have to do with the workplace but management believed it without fact checking and said I was "jeopardizing" their relationship with a specific school. A school that I graduated from -- so it makes no sense why I would do what they falsely accused me of. The whole situation literally made zero sense to be honest and they wrote up a "performance improvement plan" with other exaggerated things on there after I had kept in good touch with management constantly asking how I was doing and being told I was doing fine.
