Pros

Worked with a great team of therapist. Free CEUs offered on their intranet website.

Cons

Productivity expectations make it difficult to provide both quality care and good documentation. Expected to be 90% productive as a PTA. Mandatory training/ in-services and weekly staff meeting not paid for in order to keep productivity up. New hire training is unorganized/ chaotic. Quality time is not spent on training to ensure employees understand their job, are familiar with the company, and know their benefits. This seems to be partly due to productivity expectations and partly due to a sloppy company. Benefits continue to be cut. You have only 2 paid holidays per year, Christmas Day and Thanksgiving Day. If you want another holiday off, you have to come in on the weekend to make that day up. You are offered vacation time and PTO, but it's almost impossible to use it. You have to give notice months in advance for days off. The therapy group is only allowed a certain number of days off per month, so if someone has a week vacation then no one else can have a day off that month. It census is low, and nearby facilities don't need help, in order to get your hours in you either have to drive to a facility far away or pad you hours using benefit time. If you are full-time, and you don't get your full-time hours , your benefits will eventually be cut and your status will change to part-time.

Pros

Flexible schedule, nice coworkers, nice office space

Cons

Horrendously overworked. They kept promising help that never arrived. I felt terrible having to let certain tasks fall by the wayside because I was always drowning. I was afraid to take a day off and worked through illnesses, making it harder to recover. Administrator didnt care.
