Some pockets of really smart, dedicated people, especially on the SE and engineering teams. Great coffee machines and free snacks. Very good benefits package.
Cons
Company is trying to deliver all solutions to all market segments. From self serve small to large scale enterprise with different sales teams for all. Plus overlays for outbound which they just laid off almost the entire sales team. The biggest issue is Genesys doesn't understand (or chooses to ignore) the cloud based revenue recognition and aligning their comp plans with the cloud market. The only commission paid out to sales is on the committed value in the first year, not the variable upside during the length of the contract. Sales rep gets screwed on true value of deal while Genesys recognizes all the variable revenue. So, the reps leave after a year or two when they realize they are doing all this work, increased quotas, and then only realizing about 33% or less of their worth in commissions.
