Pros
I have been at Genesys a little under a year and I can't say enough about my experience here! Genesys has structured on boarding and training that allowed me to get familiar with the business, how it operates and enabled me to get familiar with our products. The company cares about diversity and inclusion, has regular events scheduled to promote team building, and has incredibly talented team members who are hands on, collaborative and humble. I appreciate the weekly newsletter called The Now! that keeps employees up to date on happenings at Genesys and our intranet has countless articles and resources to keep employees in the loop.
Cons
I came from a smaller company and it felt much easier to meet others and interact. While Genesys has a lot of team building and activities planned on a regular basis, it can be hard to build relationships and friendships outside of my immediate team. In Indianapolis alone we have 800+ employees in two buildings and we are also global, so it can be a challenge to meet others outside my day to day team. My team has video meetings but it's not the same as being in the same room.
