Pros
- The marketing organization is growing and changing, so the variety of work is refreshing and keeps me challenged. - It is a flexible place to work. It is still a 9-5 job but there are no issues if you need to work at home. Almost everyone I know takes Fridays as a WFH day. - Everyone is friendly and the culture is fun! Fun things are planned fairly regularly (happy hours, parties, etc.) and I feel like I've gotten a good chance to develop relationships with colleagues. - The benefits are good! Open time off is very nice.
Cons
- A lot of Management by rumor-mill sometimes. Org changes have not been communicated well by leaders. Sometimes, I feel like I am in the dark - The performance management and development process is not well enforced. It exists but nobody I know follows it. Because of this, it seems like career development is not prioritized. It doesn't seem obvious how to grow your responsibilities or move up within the company.
