I believe Genesys is in the best shape since 2016 when it acquired Interactive Intelligence. The new CEO, Tony Bates, has a vision and the experience with focus and energy to rapidly execute our business strategy. He is enabling our teams to fully align across the global organization. It is exciting to apart of this new era. The innovations in the CX Industry are changing the landscape very quickly. Our R&D investments (AI), our ability to scale through partnerships, and our commitment to our customers make Genesys a true leader in this industry. The Indianapolis office is just one of many wonderful Genesys sites, but it is the largest site, and has an incredible culture with over 20 years of history of innovation and development. It is a cross-functional site with senior leadership and every department in the organization represented in Indy. The work-life balance is wonderful. The compensation and benefits are excellent. We have a cafe and health clinic on site....and a very cool gym with free wellness classes for employees. The culture of the Indy site is strong, and a group of committed employees called the EAC do a great deal to create an inclusive environment with many functions and events throughout the year. Genesys is a big part of the Indy tech scene and the broader business community. They're committed to supporting business organizations and non-profits including food banks, Habitat for Humanity, Employ Indy and the American Cancer Society. Genesys has a wonderful relationship with business and governmental leaders in Indy.
Cons
There is a great deal of change, but that is just the pace of a leading technology company in the industry. New innovations and processes are always being implemented, but I think we are headed in a direction with more forethought, more confidence, and a better pace and rhythm to the business than in recent years. Some reviews sound concerned about new cloud-based entrants in the market, but in my opinion, that only bolsters our position....we are in a space where investors want to be, and we are now acting like a leader in the market, so our value will continue to grow. We are more focused than in years past, and we are building an experienced team which executes at a higher level.
