Pros

Working levels through to midmgmt are super collaborative, transparent and OneGenesys Aligned. Passionate, dedicated people and teams in Partner Sales despite absence of partner ops and investment in provding a winning partner experience

Cons

Regional sales culture generally displays a direct first mindset, despite rational understanding that that 30%+ YoY growth can only happen via partners. Any signal that a customer is open to direct or expresses concern with indirect model is an invitation for Genesys sales to deploy direct sales motion. Sales employees profit materially more on direct sales, vs indirect. Extreme levels of conflict and account/opp friction robbing partner and sales leaders of vital time needed to progress growth initiatives and joint success patterns/plays.

Interesting take on customer experience using AI. Good pay for the role.

Cons

Favoritism amongst certain individuals and teams. I've heard that some sellers were removed from accounts just as they were going to close deals and therefore lost their commission. The messaging is that you can speak to any leader but that is not always the case.
