Pros
The immediate colleagues are really nice and talented people. Good work life balance and flexibility, no one is breathing down your neck. Shout out to the leadership folks in Budapest, they are probably the best, as transparent as possible, open, friendly, trying to make things work.
Cons
Salary is well below the market. No career opportunities. Collaboration between teams is basically non-existent. Many-many 'we have no idea what's next' moments over the years, lack of vision, or lack of communication from the management. There is only communication about the 'great success' and the 'big win'. Record revenue? Sure! Yearly bonus? Well, that's just delayed endlessly and silently, and cut back in the end. The company values are only mandatory for the employees. For the C-suite they are just propaganda to spread on every meeting, they don't practice what they preach. They fired close to a 1000 people at the end of last year because of dropping products, for the CEO, that's the 'best strategic decision'. Because the layoffs, trust has fallen in the leadership, but instead addressing concerns in a meaningful way, all responsibility is pushed back on the employees.
