Pros
I had the chance to work with a wide range of technologies and real enterprise on-prem infrastructure. Over six years I learned a lot, had plenty of hands-on exposure, and genuinely enjoyed working there. The compensation was excellent, the work-life balance was very good, and overall it was a very positive experience for me.
Cons
Honestly, I do not have much to complain about. The only downside is that it ended. I would have gladly stayed much longer, even until retirement.
