Cons
- senior management has been virtually unchanged for more than a decade, which means that the organization continues to do more of the same & lacks any new thought leadership. - over the years GE's heritage of meritocracy has eroded & given way to favoritism - organization is quite inward looking - work gets very repetitive & boring after a few years in the organization - huge disparity in compensation at middle & senior levels; compensation depends on your ability to negotiate at the time of entry & your ability to negotiate with HR post entry. there's little evidence of any salary banding at different levels of responsibility
