Pros
The company is growing quickly, and there are plenty of opportunities to showcase your skills and talents. Ability expand your role into other directions and have a hand in getting things off the ground. There are a lot of highly capable and knowledgeable people who are experienced in their particular field.
Cons
There is zero accountability which is unfortunate as it happens to be one of their Values the company likes to promote regularly as something that separates them from other companies. Their Values are what initially drew me to this start up company and they are falling flat. It may be that some hires are buddies, or previous colleagues of the persons in positions of power. So they will not be held to the same standard. What ever the reason may be, but it does seem that some people are exempt from being held accountable. Also the company likes to promote a healthy work like balance, but will work you ragged until you are nearing burnout because of budget restrictions, since they are a “Start Up”. They are growing quickly as a business, but their support staff is not growing at the same rate, and is causing burnout.
