Pros

You will make a ton of friends in all levels of management. The ladies stick together and everyone pulls their weight. You will learn a ton about the oil and gas industry as well as the transportation industry. It is a great place to start your career.

Cons

Management has never been management before this company. They were founded by an oil rig worker who saw someone else's idea and took an entrepreneurial interest in GPS software. Because he was a roughneck, he had exclusivity to companies like Swire. Management needs coaching, and they need to compensate their employees better.

There is an incredibly supportive culture, innovative products and software that are a pleasure to sell, and clear growth opportunities. I certainly recommend Geoforce for anyone looking to advance their career in a great environment.

Cons

Every day at Geoforce is different and can bring new opportunities and challenges, it's very similar to other technology companies I've worked for in that way. If that's not a conducive environment for your success, working at Geoforce may not be for you.
