GW features a dynamic community, opportunities to learn and to grow in your position, and expand your network. The staff community is great and the University offers tuition remission benefits. The University is doing well financially and is almost always hiring.
Cons
Like most higher educational institutions, some environments are plagued with bureaucracy, ambiguity and nepotism. If you are nimble and persuasive, and have a good network, you will do well. Ask about the turnover in your particular department.
