Business Outlook
Pros
As a student, working as a Summer Assistant for the GW Summer Conference and Housing office was a wonderful opportunity and fit perfectly into my schedule. As an assistant to summer residents in the college dorms, it was our job as point of contact and to conduct office assistance to make sure GW provided the "best of basic."
Cons
It appears that GW is incredibly decentralized. In other words, the GW Summer and Conference Housing was a single office within a larger office of GW Housing that was in turn just a single office within GW student life. Policies and practices that apply for one office do not necessarily apply to the other, and the chain of command is often cross-disciplinary.
