Horrific management issues - Assistant Director, Undergraduate Admissions George Washington University Employee Review

Management at GW is truly horrific. There are incredible trust issues between junior and senior staff in many offices, most particularly Undergraduate Admissions. Decisions are rarely data driven, and fear seems to initiate most actions. There is absolutely ZERO psychological safety throughout the organization - employees who dissent or provide alternative opinions from management are often shunned. Collaboration is discouraged within departments and across departments. The ability to affect change is limited by massive bureaucracy.
