Toxic Work Environment and Poor Management - Senior Accountant George Washington University Employee Review

I worked at [Company Name] for [duration], and unfortunately, it was the worst professional experience I've had. The management, including both my direct supervisor and the controller, had a condescending attitude, often speaking down to employees in a way that created an extremely uncomfortable work environment. Instead of providing constructive feedback or support, their communication style felt more like bullying, which significantly impacted my confidence and job performance. There was little to no guidance or encouragement, and instead, I often felt undermined and belittled. This type of environment led to a constant sense of anxiety, and it became clear that there was no interest in fostering employee growth or well-being. The company culture was not supportive, and the lack of respect from management created a toxic atmosphere. In summary, I would strongly advise against working here unless you are prepared to deal with poor leadership and a high-stress, unwelcoming work environment.
