Pros
Friendly people and small working environment made for a personable atmosphere, not to mention when life stuff happens, they're very accommodating. Plus, being on the campus every day was just an amazing experience. Also: after one year working at the university, you can enroll at the university for a master's program that's fully reimbursed.
Cons
There is a huge bureaucracy at the university. Also, and this is perhaps the most disconcerting thing, full-time employees who are staff (not faculty nor upper-level administration) get treated second-class at times in terms of salary and salary raises. Many of my colleagues took advantage of the tuition reimbursement and then left for a much better paying job after graduating with an MBA or other master's degree. Unless you are a professor, this is likely not a long-term job destination.
