Cons
The superintendent micromanages without collaboration from the ones who do the work. She is vindictive and does not have valid reasons for not renewing contracts. While she had some good ideas in increasing student growth her leadership style is autocratic and not respectful. For example, she is consistently late to meetings and does not allow questions after the presentation. She placed staff in administrative positions who did not apply/ interview nor did all of them have the credentials to be in those positions. She answers to no one and if someone is brave enough to offer a different opinion they won’t be around for long. Staff members wrote emails to the Board in 2020 with concerns and some of those were denied promotions even though they were clearly the best candidate. If you are a Harry Potter fan, think of Dolores Umbridge and that’s her.
