Pros
I have worked at GCA for over 10 years. I started here as a 6th grade math teacher. One of the wonderful things about GCA is that hard workers are recognized and given opportunities for advancement. I have served in many roles including curriculum chair, lead teacher, data coordinator, assistant principal, assistant director, and now director. Your voice is heard at GCA and you can make a difference in so many students' lives. I truly believe that we are pioneers of virtual education. We become very close with not only our students, but their entire families. We are able to hold our students to high standards and help improve the future generations. When working at GCA, you are surrounded by hundreds of hardworking, passionate educators who always put students first.
Cons
It can be difficult to walk away from your work after business hours since your office is in your home.
