TEST way TOO much!!!!!!!!! About 1/3 of schoo days are spent testing (MAP, iready, common assessments, interim assessments, WRITE score, milestones, etc) No flexibility for teachers or students. Leadership doesn’t value teachers and their expertise. Superintendent has NEVER been a teacher, the asst superintendent (chief academic officer) is an elementary teacher who has NEVER taught online, the lead counselor that helped make the schedule lacked experience as well, but yet they released two amazing principals and many teachers who expressed concern over policies and procedures….they want “ YES” employees only. There’s lots of reasons why teachers and students are going to connections academy and GCA enrollment has declined.
