      Pros

      I was determined to leave the teaching profession, abandoning 20 years of retirement, to save my health and sanity. As an experimental alternative I accepted a remote position with Georgia Cyber Academy. I can honestly say, they saved my career, I am supported and valued as a professional at GCA.

      Cons

      The social isolation created by working from home can be challenging for some, a relief for others.
