Do not work at Tech Dining - Barista Georgia Tech Employee Review

They don’t fire workers because the institution likely doesn’t want to pay out unemployment. Several things have been stolen, coworkers and students have been sexually harassed by staff. The only actual way to get fired from Tech Dining is to take food from the cafeteria home—which is crazy because all of the employees are Black, and many of which are facing food insecurities. Furthermore, we just throw the leftover food away anyways, so it’s outright insulting.
