Pros

Met some cool individuals that have the same or like experiences. Gender and Races bias is null. Facilities are nice. Equipment is new when you are able to get equipment. Low stress most of the time.

Cons

Working from home is discouraged and if you do they take it away at a moments notice. Being a salary employee but made to document the hours you work. Promotions are not real or very far and few between. You cannot get a promotion until someone leaves the organization and then you still have to fight of the position because seniority does not apply. Compensation is the worst. You have to beg for a raise to balance for inflation. To get ahead in this organization is impossible and not advisable. Senior managers are non progressive and DO NOT advocate nor fight for their subordinates due to FEAR. Having to take a MANDATORY 1 hour lunch break. Having to pay to park where you work and its not reimbursed. Work Life balance doesn't exist. Parts of the year you get to work when its dark and leave when the sun is setting.

Pros

Great team at the Smyrna Office, Specifically ATAS. You have ownership over the process and create the protocols and procedures which felt very empowering. The work environment healthy and you can have a balance in life. The company also is very engineer biased which is fine but that ruins team cohesion at times. Also lord forbid you be a new hire and a project is cancelled well buddy no job for you!!

Cons

The job is not stable as it is dependent on contracts and their extensions, this is the reason why I was unable to go full time. Also due to past negligence a lot of the job is fixing other peoples problems. Also your work day can either be slow or very fast. Also at times it felt you were punished for completing work timely as priorities would change.
