Pros

Decent yearly bonus depending on company results. “Unlimited” vacation days.

Cons

The company is on a quick track to burning into the ground. It is being made painfully clear that the Team Members are not considered, valued, or appreciated with the recent CEO’s decision to move all corporate associates back into the office after being in a very successful work from home environment for years. Not only are they deciding to pull everyone back into the office, but it is in a completely asinine location that is a disgusting distance away from where we all initially agreed to work. Meanwhile, the location has yet to be “officially” shared with the very Team Members that are being impacted by this. This is leaving very little time for employees to plan accordingly (find child care, rework schedules, plan for the new expenses tied to this) as we are being told this is effective in January. Great disgust and concern has been expressed to management but the responses have been painfully dismissive, inconsiderate, and down right arrogant. The company does not care about enhancing and supporting productivity and growth but is more focused on some fantasy “collaboration” that will apparently fix the companies problems once we are all back in person. I use to think rather highly of this company, but am now unfortunately realizing those feelings are a thing of the past with this new direction we are headed in. I foresee a substantial number of valuable and important individuals jumping ship while followed by zero remorse from upper management. This path will only crush everyone remaining and eventually lead to the deterioration of the company.

Pros

Generally a good group of people. Work itself isn't terribly hard. Insurance is nice however, the pay is poverty wages,

Cons

Pay is called "competitive" It's competitive in the sense they pay dollars less than their competitors. You will be working solo mostly. There is zero payoff for doing a good job. Raises exist once a year set by union. These raises do not keep up with inflation. ALL PRODUCTS ARE 15-30% more expensive than other stores. Almost no one can afford to shop here that works here. If they do shop here they are paying between 50 cents to dollars more per item. The store is literally ripping off customers and workers. Work is do'able and can be completed if you bust your butt for a bit. The pay off? None. There's no raise, no bonus, they don't remember it for future raises. Working full time and getting between 370 and 500 a week is not livable. They talk about community helping which they do however its the cheapest way to pretend to care vs paying people who work there in the community more so there would be LESS people in need, No sense of purpose.
