Amazing group of talented people across the board! The team is focused on meaningful work, with solid direction from leadership. Fast pace, exciting work. The speed comes with excellent support from the company as well as the fabulous team that has been assembled (and continues to grow). This review is specifically about the recruiting and onboarding experience. Over the past 5-months I've interviewed at more than seven of the top hyperscalers and data center developers, and I was shocked by how impersonal and unfriendly most of their recruiting teams were. It felt sooo inhumane. I hadn't dealt with HR much in years, and I couldn't believe how cold and transactional the process has become across the industry. Giga Energy was a completely different experience. From the moment I started working with Alex and the HR team on my interviews and onboarding, I felt very supported. They were transparent about every step of the process, gave clear and timely feedback, and made me feel like a person rather than a number. If you're considering Giga, that recruiting and onboarding experience alone says a lot about how the company treats its people.
