Pros
Pros: Gain months of experience in mere weeks and test your susceptibility to ethical ambiguity. Crew is ambitious, lively and great at selling their narrative. (And we can't forget the AYCE microwave burritos.)
Cons
After working with dozens of people on freelance work and in different team-oriented positions, I would say the worst leadership I've been under was in this position at Giveffect. I taught interpersonal/ group communication skills during college and feel further qualified to judge this. The workload was heavy. I've explained my assignments to others who have all said "How do you find the time to finish that in one week?" Two subjective cons: (1) Sharon could never even smile if I sent her a birthday card. (2) I don't feel comfortable hearing banter about customers or former employees. My termination meeting was completely unprofessional. During the interview process all candidates were emailed on the same thread. Huge privacy fail. The second choice candidate's name was still on the board when I started. I received a rejection email that was sent to another candidate. So did everyone else.
