Pros
You're helping non-profit companies reach their fundraising goals
Cons
Your wellbeing is not valued at all. During busy season you hardly have time to give the proper attention and care to your different events because they pile them on you one after the other. They say you get a day off during the week if you just worked an event on the weekend, but then they try to regulate which day you can take. You're forced to work events even when you're not well. My lead manger was the worst, never present, and spoke to me like I was slow. I had to rely on myself and others on my team a lot, even when I was a new hire. I should have been paid way more than what I received for the amount of work that I did. Also, the health insurance sucks.
