Pros

Regular schedule, vacation and sick time are available on day one. Depending on your manager, work time is flexible, promote from within.

Cons

Promoting from within seems to be a game of who you know. I've seen very qualified people being passed over for promotions in favor of folks who are friendly with the management team. And the spelling, grammar, and punctuation of some of the managers and supervisors can be atrocious.

Pros

Hands-On Experience with Modern Infrastructure Friendly and Supportive Culture Great Resume Builder Work-Life Balance If you value a supportive team culture, a manageable workload, and building high-scale professional project experience, a Global Payments internship is a fantastic stepping stone, especially for launching a career in FinTech or platform engineering.

Cons

Uncertainty Around Full-Time Pipeline Varying Tech Stacks by Team: Because the company encompasses many different product lines and acquired systems, your experience can vary wildly depending on the specific team you land on. Some teams work on cutting-edge, next-gen cloud platforms, while others are tasked with maintaining or upgrading older legacy architectures.
