Pros

They provide extensive and friendly training There is a goodlife in the same complex and they offer corporate deal Benefits kick in only after 1 month and not 3 like most places Benefits are ok but nothing special People are there to help when you have questions

Cons

-Broken old chairs so everyone is always swapping them, one day you come in and your chair is there, one day your spending minutes of your morning looking for a working chair instead of drinking your coffee -Incompetent management -They pay by the hour so you only bank 37.5 hours a week with no paid lunch -No room for advancement -The company itself has completely incompetent customer service value and the poor way that merchants get treated reflects that in the company processes. Half of your job is to basically be the punching bag for angry merchants so that GP does not have to deal with them for being so incompetent and shady. -There is no value into the employee either

Pros

Hands-On Experience with Modern Infrastructure Friendly and Supportive Culture Great Resume Builder Work-Life Balance If you value a supportive team culture, a manageable workload, and building high-scale professional project experience, a Global Payments internship is a fantastic stepping stone, especially for launching a career in FinTech or platform engineering.

Cons

Uncertainty Around Full-Time Pipeline Varying Tech Stacks by Team: Because the company encompasses many different product lines and acquired systems, your experience can vary wildly depending on the specific team you land on. Some teams work on cutting-edge, next-gen cloud platforms, while others are tasked with maintaining or upgrading older legacy architectures.
